Anthropology is the study of man and his works - in space and time. It studies human cultures biology language and evolution. 

Psychology is focused upon studying emotions, intelligence, memory and personality formation, in context of biology and Society

Both concerned with human behaviour, cognition, values and beliefs but psychology at individual and anthropology at cultural level.

Focus on primitive communities initially. Psychology was limited to advanced societies.

Holistic study using biology culture society language and genetics.  

Methods participant observation interview questionnaire. Psycho studies IQ test, psychometric test, emotional intelligence, questionnaire interview.

Famous personalities Ruth Benedict Margaret mead Ralph Linton but also influenced by psychologists like Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung.

Today both are converging and interdisciplinary approach becoming popular. Both borrow lessons on culture society nutrition language from each other.
